Urbaneco Australia is committed to both training and mentoring. UE consider their staff to be their most valuable resource and most are long term employees. UE actively encourage both on the job and more formal training at institutions such as Melbourne University, Burnley campus, NMIT, Holmesglen and a range of TAFE institutions. Most staff are trained in either landscape construction, horticulture or both. Our company philosophy is that the appropriate and clever use of plant material is primary and the inclusion of construction elements is secondary. UE does not build just for the sake of building, which in turn keeps costs down and garden spaces become natural, liveable, family friendly retreats.
Urbaneco Australia currently offer on site workshops and training sessions and are supplying these services to apprenticeship training organisations, private business and local government. Mr. Evans has been acting on behalf of skills Victoria as the Skills Ambassador - Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges and is currently teaching VET Horticulture at Box Hill College. Mr. Evans is qualified in both training and assessment

UE and Charlie Evans are regular participants in International garden and design events and have exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore and Taiwan where they have achieved many awards for excellence. Working amongst such diverse cultures and climates has meant that UE and staff have become skilled at applying specific techniques and solutions to a vast array of sites and situations; all of this has lead to UE being able to offer clever design solutions to problematic sites. UE relish the challenge of working with a degree of difficulty.
